Eric Pickles, UK Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government visits Krakow on 7-9 December 2011. He plans to visit Nazi German Death Camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and meets with its Director, Piotr Cywiński. During his stay in Kraków, the Minister will also meet with Prof. Jacek Majchrowski (Mayor), Marek Sowa (Marshal of Małopolskie Province) and Stanisław Kracik (Voivode of the Małopolska Region). They will discuss local problems and possibilities of co-operation between the region of Małopolska and UK.
